Terms and Conditions

1. General information

This document governs access to and use of the Viking Layer Forge website (hereinafter, the “Website”), owned by the self-employed professional Francisco J. Catalán (hereinafter, the “Owner”), with its operational base in Alcalá de Henares, Spain and Tax ID 09087222Z. Access to the Website confers the status of user and implies full and unreserved acceptance of this legal text.

2. Acceptance of the terms

Use of the Website implies full acceptance of these conditions. If the user disagrees with any of the points set out herein, they must refrain from using the Website.

3. Amendments

The Owner may update or modify these Terms and Conditions, as well as any other legal notice, at any time. Such amendments will apply from the time they are published, and it is the user’s responsibility to review them periodically.

4. Use of the Website

The user undertakes to use the Website in accordance with the law, morality, public order and good customs, avoiding:

  • Unlawful acts or acts contrary to these Terms.

  • Infringing the rights or interests of third parties.

  • Damaging, disabling, overloading or deteriorating the Website, or preventing its normal operation.

5. Products and services

Viking Layer Forge is a precision additive manufacturing brand. Our products are engineered components intended exclusively for training, simulation and Airsoft systems. Features, prices and availability may change without prior notice. The Owner will endeavour to keep the information up to date, but does not guarantee its absolute accuracy at all times.

5.1 TECHNICAL NATURE AND PRODUCT SAFETY

  • Safety Warning: Under no circumstances should our products be installed or used on real firearms. The Owner declines all liability for damage arising from the use of its parts on platforms for which they were not designed.

  • Operator Responsibility: It is the user’s obligation to verify the correct fit of the component and the condition of their platform before each operational use.

6. Purchase process

To place an order, the user must follow the online purchase process and provide truthful, complete and up-to-date information. After confirmation, the user will receive an email with the order details.

The sales contract shall not be deemed concluded until the Owner has verified payment and sent the order confirmation by email.

7. Shipping, delivery and transfer of risk

  • Timeframes: In-stock orders are processed within 24 business hours. Transit time depends on the selected logistics operator (standard 48/72h).

  • Liability: Under Spanish law, the risk of loss or damage transfers to the customer at the time of physical delivery of the product. The Owner is responsible for ensuring that the product reaches its destination in perfect condition.

  • Issues Due to Incorrect Details: If an order is returned due to an incorrect address or repeated absence, the customer must pay the new reshipping costs. If cancellation is requested at this point, the product amount will be refunded, less the shipping and return costs already incurred.

8. Returns and cancellations

The customer has 14 calendar days from receipt to withdraw from the purchase.

    • Product Condition: The item must be returned in its original condition, without having been assembled, handled or marked. Returns will not be accepted for parts showing signs of installation (screw marks, manual fitting, etc.).

    • Exception (Customisation): In accordance with Article 103 of the LGDCU, there is no right of withdrawal for products manufactured to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalised (out-of-catalogue colours or design modifications expressly requested).

8.1 LEGAL WARRANTY

In accordance with Royal Decree-Law 7/2021, all products are covered by a 3-year warranty against manufacturing defects. This warranty covers structural or technical material failures, but excludes wear from operational use, breakage due to accidental impacts, or damage resulting from incorrect installation.

9. Data protection

The processing of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy, which the user must accept before providing their data.

The personal data collected will be processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and used solely for commercial, administrative and logistics purposes related to order management. For more information, please consult our Privacy Policy.

10. Intellectual property

All content (texts, images, logos, software, etc.) is the property of the Owner or authorised third parties and is protected by intellectual property regulations. Reproduction or distribution without express authorisation is prohibited, as is reverse engineering, 3D scanning or reproduction of our designs and products without the Owner’s express written consent.

11. Limitation of liability

The Owner shall not be liable for:

  • Direct or indirect damages arising from the use of the Website or the products.

  • Interruptions or failures of the Website caused by force majeure or actions by third parties.

  • Content from external sites linked from the Website.

  • Use of the products sold, especially those intended for recreational activities such as airsoft, is the sole responsibility of the user. The Owner shall not be liable for improper use, unauthorised modifications or injuries arising from their use.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Spanish law. In the event of a dispute with a consumer, the Courts and Tribunals of the user’s place of residence shall have jurisdiction.
