MAGAZINE BASES

MAGAZINE BUMPERS, EXTENSIONS AND PROTECTORS

Created for direct action.

Our pistol magazine base pads reduce grip failures under extreme humidity or stress conditions.

Designed for intuitive extraction from the pouch, they ensure a fast transition and protect the magazine block against impacts, turning every reload into a tactical advantage.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

The bases do not modify the internal capacity and do not interfere with the feeding spring or the magazine follower. Their purpose is to improve grip, protection and extraction while maintaining the original operation of the magazine.

Tactical Magazine Bases and Pistol Magazine Extensions

In the Viking Layer Forge ecosystem, we understand that magazine bases are not just aesthetic elements. They are the contact point in every transition and the first line of defense for your tactical equipment. Our range of components is manufactured in carbon fiber reinforced nylon (PA6-CF) to provide superior durability without altering the weight of your replica.

Grip Geometry for Reloads Under Stress

Although our bases act as a non-functional extension, maintaining the original magazine capacity, their design is intended to replicate real combat systems. This profile extension provides a textured surface thanks to carbon fiber, ideal for improving tactical grip. The result is instinctive and smooth extraction from the pouch, reducing grip failures caused by humidity, sweat or the use of gloves.

Secondary Locking System and Fast Gas Reloading

Mechanical safety is non-negotiable. Each base incorporates a secondary locking mechanism in the rear area, designed to withstand impacts, direct hits or accidental friction with the environment, preventing accidental loss of the magazine extension. Designed for real use, the system allows quick and easy manual unlocking: simply slide the safety to release the base, access the gas fill valve, and then secure the assembly again in seconds.

Impact-Resistant Design: The Fuse Effect to Protect Your GBB Magazines

An airsoft magazine is a precision component that can suffer critical damage when dropped. Our tactical magazine bases are designed to absorb kinetic energy during vertical impacts, such as flat drops onto the ground. The carbon polymer block acts as a sacrificial mechanical fuse: in the event of an extremely violent impact on a hard surface, the secondary block absorbs the destructive force and may break if necessary, protecting the structural integrity of the magazine body, the magazine base and the gas fill valves.

Currently Compatible Platforms and Manufacturers

Our production line is continuously expanding to cover the standards of the most widely used replicas in operational and competition environments. We currently manufacture magazine extensions with guaranteed compatibility for the following ecosystems:

In addition, our design department is actively working in the testing phase to expand this ecosystem to new platforms. Soon, we will open production for AAP-01, Heckler & Koch USP and FNX-45 systems, while maintaining our commitment to delivering maximum industrial resistance in every new component.
