Why install an RCM magwell on an M4?

For faster reloads and cleaner transitions, a funnel or magwell for M4 and HK416 platforms is one of the most effective rifle upgrades. It enlarges the original magazine opening by approximately 200–250%, automatically guiding the magazine into position.

Fast reloads for CQB, sport shooting and IPSC

The wider insertion area helps prevent missed or angled magazine insertions. This provides a critical advantage in CQB, IPSC and low-light operation with night-vision systems, where the magazine must be changed intuitively without taking your eyes off the target.

Compatibility with HK416 and wide AEG lower receivers

This version was developed for robust AEG lower receivers and is especially suitable as an HK416 funnel. It is optimized for platforms such as the Rossi Neptune series and reinforced G&G bodies including the TR4-18. Compare the following approximate external dimensions with the product images: 40 mm wide and 76 mm long.

⚠️ Is your rifle a slim-profile model? If your receiver is smaller, as on many traditional M4 or slim MK18 platforms, this part will be too large. Choose our AR15/MK18 magwell instead.

Carbon-fiber nylon tactical component

The RCM (Rifle Combat Magwell) is made from industrial-grade structural carbon-fiber-reinforced nylon. The result is an extremely rigid, lightweight component that withstands direct impacts and temperatures up to 150 °C without mechanical deformation.

Plug-and-play installation

The included bolt-on system clamps firmly around the lower receiver for a stable, play-free fit. No filing or permanent modification of the original rifle components is required, and the rifle can be returned to its standard configuration at any time.
